On January 26 at 12 PM ET, please join Carolina Data Science Now for “Advancing Education, Training, and Care.” The event will feature three lightning talks by professors and researchers in UNC-Chapel Hill’s academic community, centered around how data science is used to improve the experiences of students, trainees, and patients.
The seminar will be moderated by Robert Hubal, a Research Scientist at the Renaissance Computing Institute (RENCI), whose research interests center on the intelligent use of technology to better train and assess knowledge and skills. Speakers will include Matthew Bernacki (School of Education), Saif Khairat (School of Nursing), and Adam Kiefer (Exercise and Sport Science).
These talks will be followed by a guided panel, an opportunity for questions and answers with the speakers, and a discussion with the data science community at UNC-Chapel Hill.
