Join the UNC Program for Precision Medicine in Health Care (PPMH) for Pharmacogenomics and Decision Support in the EHR, a free virtual mini-symposium from 1:00-3:00pm on Wednesday October 27. Presenters will explore mechanisms for predicting how a patient’s genome will influence their response to medications, implementing pharmacogenomics in the clinic, and development of EHR decision support.
Presentations:
The ongoing quest for perfection – or at least precision – of tacrolimus dosing in bone marrow transplant
Daniel Crona, PharmD, PhD — Associate Professor, Division of Pharmacotherapy and Experimental Therapeutics, Eshelman School of Pharmacy
Interindividual variability in drug metabolism: Implications for precision medicine in ethnically diverse populations in epilepsy
Klarissa Jackson, PhD — Associate Professor, Division of Pharmacotherapy and Experimental Therapeutics, Eshelman School of Pharmacy
