Student Advancement at RENCI

Student Advancement at RENCI (STAR) offers a range of programs that provide students with opportunities for internships, externships, and advanced learning experiences. Our mission is to empower students to explore their potential and make lasting impacts within RENCI’s innovative research and development endeavors. We are committed to helping the next generation of thinkers bring their ideas forward, develop valuable skills, and pursue professional growth.

Throughout the year, STAR provides paid and unpaid STARships (internship or externship) to undergraduate and graduate students. Each STARship is guided by a mentor who works directly with students on their specific projects. Our STAR Ventures Summer Program, exclusively for high school students, features workshop-style sessions that educate participants about RENCI’s projects, potential careers in data science, professional development skills, and more.
