RENCI at ECU announces Visualization Challenge winners

The Visualization Challenge hosted by RENCI at East Carolina University (ECU) drew excellent presentations again this year. Cal Scheinert, undergraduate winner, and Thad Wester, graduate winner, as well as Hillary Huffer, first runner up, were recognized at the 2011 Research and Creative Week Luncheon at ECU on April 8.

East Carolina celebrates science at regional festival

RENCI at East Carolina University was one of the organizations that planned and participated in the Eastern North Carolina Science Festival, held Friday, Sept. 24, at the East Carolina Heart Institute in Greenville.

RENCI at ECU website documents NC coastal storms

RENCI Helps Dare County Schools promote hurricane safety

Visualization Challenge examines history, science and more

RENCI at East Carolina University’s (ECU) second annual Visualization Challenge, held March 25, featured presentations on the center’s 21-foot by 6-foot visualization wall on topics ranging from 3D archeological ship reconstruction to research into genetic diseases using fruit flies.

RENCI at ECU hosts local kids for Gettysburg Address reading

At 10 a.m. on February 12, home-schooled students from the Greenville area gathered around the visualization wall at RENCI at East Carolina University (ECU) to participate in a worldwide celebration of Abraham Lincoln’s 200th birthday.
